Don’t Drink Dad is the employee rewards scheme that enables fathers to make better choices for their children.

Our VISION & MISSION

Getting fathers and families to thank their future selves

We do this by enabling fathers to make better drink-related Decisions in the workplace.

To support our families, we have to firstly support ourselves. This comes from recognising that we have a problem. DDD is here to help you Dig Deeper on your journey.

Choose not to booze

We partner with retailers and 0% alcohol providers, so you can save more at work, to spend more with the people that really matter.

With these different options, fathers can be more Dependable in their children’s lives.

Let’s add, not take away from things that enrich your life.

Sometimes all we need is a push in the right direction

Reducing your alcohol consumption doesn’t mean watering down the fun in your life.

Our mission ultimately is to create community. We seek to help remove the Distraction of over-drinking, reducing the Destruction drink can come with; leading you to Dedicate more of yourself to your Dependants.

WHY DADS?

We all know that diversity and inclusion is key in the workplace - particularly in the private sector. DDD rings true to this principle - anyone can get involved.

But we are also aware that men are disproportionately affected by excessive drinking culture.

Men are historically more likely to be pressured into drinking by their colleagues or bosses.

In 2021-2022, the number of alcohol-specific hospital admissions men was double that of women (Local Alcohol Profiles for England: short statistical commentary, March 2023)

Alcohol-specific death rates for males are consistently higher than for females in the UK. (Alcohol Statistics Englad, Commons Library Research Briefing, 28 July 2021)

DDD was born out of these experiences - but is for anyone to participate, not just for dads. If you are aware that your partner, friend or own father struggles with moderation, you can enrol in the scheme - whatever your gender or family position.

how DDD works

Did somebody say free gym membership? Discounted language lessons for the kids? How would you like a free football ticket every month? Choose not to booze.

The DDD Scheme:

  1. Anyone can opt-in to the DDD scheme, as long as your employer signs up.
  2. You set aside a nominal amount, up to £50 each month, that you might ordinarily spend on booze... or monkey tricks. The more you contribute, the more you benefit.
  3. Your employer matches your £50 with another £50, doubling your spending power. Your employer then gifts you a monthly non-cash voucher, which, under HMRC’s ‘Trivial Benefits’ scheme, a voucher that can only be exchanged for goods and services up to the value of £50, is tax-free.
  4. You now have up to £100 to spend on active, wholesome and unforgettable experiences through our partner network. Think fun days out with the kids, theatre shows and spa days, so you can feel your best and be your best.
